14 Sep Etsy Team Treasury Auditor
Leaders of Etsy teams that have treasury requirements know too well the pain of auditing the team each month. Making sure everyone’s made enough treasuries is tiresome manual process, even with treasury threads or member-updated spreadsheets. I’ve seen plenty of team leaders throw up their hands and stop trying to enforce the requirement. The problem only gets worse as the team grows.
I’m proud to reveal an auditing tool that will get you 90% of the way there with a few clicks. It’ll show how many treasuries each team member created with your team tag. It won’t solve all the problems – there will always be a few people who mis-tag their treasuries. The auditor is best used to check off those who have met the requirement, and serve as a launching point to investigate other members.
Important: Treasuries are posted using Etsy’s official time zone, Eastern US time. It’s best to audit with a 1-day allowance on either end to account for time zone differences. For example, a team member posting a treasury on March 31st, 10:30pm on the West coast won’t make the cut-off for “March 31st” according to Etsy.
your team. It can be found in the URL when you go to your team page (shown in red below):
Please comment if you find the auditor useful, or especially with any problems or suggestions.
